Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Executive Sous Chef to lead the kitchen operations of various Hotels and Resorts in Kerala. As a key member of the culinary team, you will oversee the preparation, cooking, and presentation of high-quality dishes, ensuring exceptional service standards.
About the Role
- 4-6 years of experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a reputable establishment.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train junior kitchen staff.
- Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, flavors, and cooking methods.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and maintaining attention to detail.
- Certification in Culinary Arts is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes in the assigned section.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and kitchen safety.
- Assist in menu planning and development of new recipes.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff.
- Coordinate with other kitchen departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor inventory and ensure proper stock rotation.
- Follow and enforce all company policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef and Sous Chefs to achieve culinary excellence.
Estimated Salary: ₹30,000 - ₹60,000 per month, depending on experience. This is a full-time position located in Cochin, Kerala, India.
