
Sales Growth Strategist

The successful Sales Growth Strategist will devise and own the go-to-market strategy, assess its effectiveness, refine, and optimize to meet and exceed sales quota achievement. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the sales process, consultative selling; someone who can showcase offerings in a compelling way, build relationships, and close deals.
- Go-To Market Strategy:
- Develop, analyze, oversee, and execute growth strategies roadmap, new programs and strategic partnerships.
- Implement sales initiatives to achieve and exceed sales target attainment and expand customer base in support of growth strategy.
- Use network and Account Target list, based on a mutually agreed GTM plan, to generate qualified leads and opportunities.
- Balance strategy with operations to ensure effective implementation.
Lead Qualification:
- Nurture and engage leads/prospects and convert them into qualified opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing and Presales teams for support in generating and qualifying new leads, eliminating any delays or gaps in proposal/collateral submission to client and nurturing prospects.
- Define and continuously improve the Lead Management Process.
Opportunity Management:
- Track and manage all opportunities for potential sales across pipeline to penetrate and attract prospects and convert them into recurring revenue.
- Take holistic view of every opportunity by following established process and accurately tracking and managing CRM data, review every interaction, activity, and stakeholder involved to make informed decisions and next steps to win it.
- Generate sales forecasts taking into account client's budget, opportunity stage, and probability.
- Effectively leverage database and research tools to assist in engaging prospects and customers: Salesforce.com, others.
- Drive participation in global or territory corporate events, including but not limited to conferences, workshops, sponsored events, webinars, regional events, and more.
Customer Engagement and Management:
- Responsible for navigating through enterprise organization to leverage cross-selling, upselling opportunities.
- Drive customer lifetime value through customer journey; bring programs to help drive business value with customers, customer goal achievement, new features, and new use-cases; collaborating across teams to identify and pursue customer growth opportunities.
- Partner with delivery teams, and advisory/insights team, to drive client issue resolution and retention.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong experience with ability to establish and meet sales targets, goals and objectives, and forecast monthly/ quarterly revenues.
- 10+ years of experience in direct selling and sales management role with majority of experience in geography of interest.
- Must have proven experience in meeting Sales Targets year on year with appetite to grow business in multiple verticals.
- High level of motivation and solid business acumen with strong communication and presentation skills.
- Good understanding of Software industry and articulate in presenting spectrum of offerings.
- MBA / B.E. / B. Tech. / MCA with background in Marketing/Sales/ International Business.
