Job Title : Business Manager

Business Line : Oil Additives requires a highly motivated and results-driven individual to manage the growth of our Oil Additives business in India, Sri Lanka & Bangladesh.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of lubricants and its application and be able to promote our products effectively to customers at different levels within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage sales targets for Oil Additives business in India, Sri Lanka & Bangladesh and maintain profitable growth.
  • Develop and execute strategies to create quick and trustful relations with existing and new customers.
  • Recommend smart solutions for the use of our products based on market needs.
  • Responsible for OEM and Industry Liaison activities including extensive field trials.
  • Channel Management: Decide on the most effective sales channel for customers and segments in the region.
  • Work closely with departments of principals to support strategic goals of the business.
  • Run market research activities e.g. perform market analysis, competitor analysis, product placement analysis.
  • Identify changes in business dynamics, marketplace opportunities, competitive threats, supply position etc.
  • Participation in fairs, conferences, customer events.
  • Support customer satisfaction survey upon request.
  • Collection of receivables.
  • Decision making for allocation /usage of sales & technical resources.

Education, Certification and/or relevant experience required:

  • Degree in Engineering with minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Basic knowledge of lubricants & its application is preferred.

Added advantage –

  • MBA in Sales / Operations.
  • Experience of handling Public sector customers.
