Job Description

At our organization, we are driving innovation and delivering great customer experiences. We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to deliver software projects to an exceptional standard using agile or waterfall methodologies.

The Project Manager will be responsible for managing the project and project team, ensuring overall project objectives are met within the agreed scope, quality, budget, and timelines.

  • Deliver software projects to an exceptional standard.
  • Manage the relationship with clients and partners.
  • Ensure 3rd party supplier contracts are being adhered to.
  • Manage change issues and risks throughout the project life cycle.
  • Manage the four essentials: on-time delivery, within budget, to scope, and of high quality that meets customer needs.
  • Be a trusted partner to our clients.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and motivation skills.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships ensuring customer expectations are managed.
  • Lead the client and project team throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Assist in project team developments while holding teams accountable for their commitments.
  • Champion ongoing process improvement initiatives to implement best practices for Agile Project Management.
Required Skills & Qualifications

We are looking for someone with:

  • Knowledge of the UK Energy and/or Non-Household Water Market.
  • A proven background in Waterfall and Agile software delivery project management with 8+ years' experience delivering projects into complex environments.
  • Effective internal and external stakeholder management with the ability to form and cultivate relationships at a strategic level.
  • Knowledge of core project management competencies such as project planning, resource forecasting, risk and issue management, financial management, scope and change management, and stakeholder management.
  • Proven experience in working with System Integrators.
  • A high numerical aptitude, with the ability to accurately forecast monthly revenue, and generate timely accurate client invoicing.
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering Fixed Priced contracts on budget.
  • Experience with managing large and complex projects.
  • Good knowledge of best practice software development methodologies, including Agile practices.
  • Confident client-facing and workshopping.
  • Expert knowledge and experience in relation to project management practices, tools, and methodologies.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Relationship management and interpersonal skills.
  • An open-minded consultative approach.
  • Ability to give and receive positive and constructive feedback.
  • Ability to creatively solve problems.

Others

Applicants should have a BE / BTech (CS / IT ) degree with solid 8 – 12 years of experience in software delivery end-to-end project management (Agile and Waterfall projects).
