About the Role:

We seek an experienced Senior Quality Engineer with 8+ years of expertise in Digital Banking, focusing on test automation and modern quality engineering practices, leveraging industry best practices and emerging trends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute automated and manual test cases for digital banking applications, ensuring seamless user experiences and robust functional testing.
• Build and maintain automation scripts using Selenium or Playwright for UI testing, and Postman / REST Assured for API testing, incorporating best practices for code quality and maintainability.
• Participate in shift-left testing by reviewing requirements, collaborating in design discussions, and identifying potential defects early in the lifecycle, promoting defect prevention and minimizing technical debt.
• Actively learn and adopt new testing tools and techniques, especially in automation and AI-assisted testing, to continuously improve test coverage and efficiency, staying up-to-date with industry developments and emerging trends.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in software quality assurance, including strong expertise in functional, API, and automation testing within digital banking services, demonstrating depth of knowledge and expertise.
• Solid understanding of digital banking workflows, including Payments, Cards, KYC, Customer Onboarding, Loans, and Internet/Mobile Banking channels, enabling effective collaboration and communication with cross-functional teams.
• Hands-on experience in test automation development using Selenium and Playwright for UI testing, and Postman / REST Assured for API testing, showcasing proficiency in script development and maintenance.
• Ability to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for both web and mobile applications, ensuring efficient and effective testing processes.
• Familiarity with AI/ML-powered testing tools and concepts such as AI-driven test case generation, demonstrating openness to emerging trends and innovations.
• Experience in shift-left testing practices, working closely with developers, product owners, and DevOps to ensure quality is embedded early in the SDLC, promoting collaboration and teamwork.
• Holds an ISTQB Test certification, demonstrating commitment to professional development and industry recognition.
