Role Overview

The Corporate Development Associate will drive our corporate fundraising initiatives, focusing on partnerships with socially responsible businesses. This is a dynamic, public-facing role suited for someone with strong communication skills, persistence and the ability to translate our vision into compelling funding opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

1) Prospecting & Outreach

• Research and develop a pipeline of potential business partners.

• Initiate outreach through targeted campaigns and meetings.

• Qualify leads and set up introductory conversations.

2) Proposal Development

• Support in creating and presenting customised proposals, presentations and donor communications aligned to our organisational goals.

• Work closely with the content team to highlight impact stories and data.

3) Partner Engagement

• Arrange and attend meetings with decision-makers.

• Prepare meeting briefs, presentations and follow-up notes.

• Maintain ongoing communication with partners to strengthen relationships.

4) Relationship Management

• Ensure transparent communication and timely delivery of progress reports to funders.

• Support recognition and acknowledgement of donors.

5) Events & Immersive Experiences

• Coordinate visits to our Experience Centres and partner engagement events.

• Assist in organising fundraising campaigns and public-facing CSR events.

6) Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate databases, track outreach metrics and report progress to leadership.

• Support compliance documentation for partners.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Social Work, Development Studies or related fields.

• 2–5 years of experience in fundraising, partnerships, business development or corporate relations (NGO/CSR sector preferred).

• Strong communication and persuasion skills, with experience in business pitching.

• Ability to create proposals, presentations and impact reports.

• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
