Job Posting:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Energy Storage Specialist to join our organization. The selected candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of battery-based energy storage systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Electrical System Design: Design and develop electrical systems for battery-based energy storage systems, including PCS, BMS, EMS, and SCADA designs.
  • Compliance Review: Conduct thorough reviews to ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations in the USA.
  • Battery Technology Evaluation: Stay up-to-date on the latest battery technologies and their characteristics, and apply this knowledge to battery parameter evaluation.
  • Project Management: Manage projects throughout their life cycle, ensuring timely completion and adherence to project requirements.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Perform electrical testing using appropriate PPE and procedures, and conduct technical reviews of documents provided by vendors.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems).
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant field. PhD candidates in similar fields are also welcome.
  • Skills: Excellent electrical knowledge, communication, analytical, planning, time management, and customer service skills.
  • Software Proficiency: Competent skills in Microsoft Office software, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Electrical Software Knowledge: Knowledge of other electrical and PV software is an added advantage.
  • Team Management Experience: Experience in client management, team management, and process management.
