
Renewable Energy Business Growth Manager

We are seeking a skilled and results-driven professional to drive business expansion in the commercial and industrial (C&I) segment through third-party and captive renewable energy solutions.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing business opportunities with C&I customers, ensuring revenue growth and long-term partnerships.
About the Role:
- This key role involves driving strategic sales initiatives to achieve business targets and expanding our customer base through effective relationship-building and negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify potential C&I customers for third-party and captive renewable energy solutions, leveraging market trends and industry knowledge.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand existing customer relationships.
- Build a strong pipeline of potential customers and drive deal closures through effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Presentation and proposal development: create compelling business cases to present to clients and negotiate agreements.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in target companies to drive long-term success.
- Negotiate and finalize Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with customers, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Stay updated on market trends, industry policies, and regulatory frameworks affecting C&I renewable energy, providing valuable insights to inform business decisions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution and maximize business value.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10-12 years of experience in business development/sales within the renewable energy sector.
- Strong understanding of third-party/captive power models, open access policies, and PPA structures.
- Demonstrated track record of closing deals and meeting revenue targets.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
