Network Infrastructure Management Specialist

About This Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Network Infrastructure Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure operations group, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and report on the operational performance of wireless, routing, and switching infrastructure across our offices and datacenter.
  • Maintain enterprise network infrastructure and its operational performance through technical network troubleshooting as needed.
  • Liaise and collaborate with vendors, TAC, and support teams for multi-platform and multi-vendor issues to identify problems, scope/responsibility, RCA/resolution, and meet incident/problem management requirements.
  • Supervise network infrastructure changes, patch deployment, version upgrades, and fixes to meet vulnerability and change management requirements.
  • Collaborate with global, peer, and business teams and provide support/assistance for network incidents/requests.
  • Maintain network inventory, network documentation, and MIS reports to meet network operations processes/procedures.
Requirements:
  1. Experience in network infrastructure operations.
  2. Experience in managing/supervising network support team.
  3. In-depth conceptual knowledge of network routing, switching, wireless, and security.
  4. Experience and hands-on with Cisco routing/switching/wireless hardware platforms.
  5. Conceptual knowledge for enterprise firewall (site/VPN tunneling) and QoS traffic shaping in network environment.
  6. In-depth knowledge of network monitoring/reporting/troubleshooting tools.
  7. Ability to work independently in a team environment and as a team leader.
  8. Well-versed with network MIS and technical reports.
  9. Excellent troubleshooting skills.
  10. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  11. Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  12. 8+ years of overall experience in enterprise/corporate network, with minimum 2 years in large/complex network environment.
