Network Architect Position

We are seeking an experienced Network Architect to lead our global network infrastructure transformation. This strategic role demands leadership and expertise in designing, configuring, and maintaining complex networks across multiple data centers, cloud platforms, and vendors.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of network protocols, hardware, and software, as well as experience with Cloud Hosting Technologies such as AWS, GCP, Azure & RackSpace.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing and deploying robust networking environments, including system installation, definition, documentation, and enforcement of system standards for a global enterprise environment.
  • Developing innovative network design, configuration, administration, maintenance, reliability, capacity planning, and support strategies.
  • Managing multi-vendor and multi-protocol networks to maximize performance, troubleshoot issues, schedule upgrades, and collaborate with network architects on optimization.
  • Ensuring network design and implementation meet disaster recovery and business continuity requirements.

Requirements:

  • At least 5+ years' experience and expert-level enterprise data center networking hardware (switches, firewalls, load balancers, etc.)
  • Experience with VoIP and collaboration technologies
  • Familiarity with server and storage infrastructure and how they integrate with the network
  • Scripting experience, including shell scripting, Ansible, and Python
  • A solid understanding of application protocols, IP management, password management, and network alerting
  • Good judgment and ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work outside normal business hours when needed
  • Bachelor's Degree or similar experience
