Job Title
Trade Finance Operations Specialist
Job Purpose
- Provide client servicing and handholding of Trade Finance transactions.
- Act as the single point of contact for clients for all trade transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage customer relationships and handle queries for Trade Finance products.
- Strengthen relationships with stakeholders, including branches, relationship managers, and internal teams, to resolve trade queries and issues promptly.
- Own customer transactions from start to finish.
- Ensure that self-KPIs and KRIs are managed and maintained as per group standards.
- Advise clients on trade transactions.
- Handle all types of customer complaints, enquiries, and queries regarding trade transactions.
Required Experience and Competencies
- Have working knowledge of various Trade Products, including Documentary Letters of Credit, Standby Letters of Credit, Bank Guarantee, Bank-to-Bank Reimbursements, Fund Transfer, and Swifts.
- Have 5+ years of work experience in handling Trade Finance products.
- Excellent client/customer management skills and business orientation.
- Ability to manage processes and metrics on a daily basis.
- Ability to provide guidance and support to teams as required and identify areas of risk to ensure proper mitigates and controls are put in place.
Education/Preferred Qualifications
- Graduate/Post-graduate with relevant work experience in the Trade Finance unit and handling of all Trade Finance products.
