Ambitious Automation Lead

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced leader to spearhead automation testing activities across projects in the medical devices domain.

The ideal candidate will oversee all test automation, ensure compliance with global healthcare regulations, and drive high-quality delivery standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and direct automation testing teams.
  • Review and approve test scripts prior to submission for acceptance by stakeholders.
  • Implement best practices in test automation.
  • Mentor and coach engineers in automation testing methodologies.
  • Build technical capabilities within the team to handle complex testing scenarios.
  • Ensure adherence to global healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Interpret regulatory requirements and align testing practices accordingly.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Drive alignment between technical and business requirements.
  • Provide hands-on technical support and guidance when necessary.
  • Monitor emerging trends and innovations in test automation for potential adoption.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 10+ years in testing, with at least recent 5 years in test automation.
  • Developing and maintaining automation test frameworks using Java and Selenium.
  • Proven track record of leading automation testing for medical devices.
  • Experience in desktop-based automation on platforms (Windows based), FlaUI/WinAppDriver/TestComplete/WhiteFramework.
  • Hands-on experience in script review and technical documentation.
  • Familiarity with global healthcare regulations.
  • Experience interpreting and applying these regulations in testing scenarios.
  • Demonstrated experience in team leadership, coaching, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
