Test Automation Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Test Automation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in automation for web applications using ACCELQ (Cloud version).

As a Test Automation Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test cases using ACCELQ (Cloud version) for web applications. You will also execute automated and manual tests to ensure application quality across functional, regression, and integration levels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases using ACCELQ (Cloud version) for web applications.
  • Execute automated and manual tests to ensure application quality across functional, regression, and integration levels.
  • Collaborate with developers, BAs, and product owners to understand requirements and create test scenarios.
  • Maintain test scripts, debug failures, and ensure high reusability and maintainability.
  • Integrate automation test suites with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
  • Provide test coverage reports, defect analysis, and root cause investigations.
  • Ensure automation best practices and contribute to QA strategy for continuous improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong hands-on experience in ACCELQ Web (Cloud) for automation.
  • Solid knowledge of automation frameworks and test design principles.
  • Good understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps CI/CD environments.
  • Experience in functional, regression, and integration testing.
  • Knowledge of APIs and ability to automate using ACCELQ (nice to have).
  • Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Git.
