Job Description:">

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to drive the development of our automated testing capabilities. This is a long-term engagement with a global leader in asset management and financial services.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders during requirement gathering to understand business and functional needs, identify test scenarios and derive effective test cases.
  • Participate in business requirement discussions and translate them into actionable test strategies, independently leading discussions to clarify requirements and data dependencies.

Candidate Profile Must Include:

  • 8+ years of SDET experience with exposure to Settlement or Capital Markets, strong understanding of trade life cycle and related financial processes testing.
  • Proven ability to lead requirement discussions and derive test cases independently, leveraging knowledge of software development methodologies including Agile, Scrum, TDD, BDD.
  • Familiarity with test management tools such as JUnit, SoapUI, Postman, Selenium, TestNG, JavaScript, Jest, Rest Assured, Cucumber, test automation frameworks like TDD, BDD.
  • Experience in testing REST API's, messaging solutions such as Solace, MQ, Kafka, relational/NoSQL database concepts, mentoring juniors and driving framework ownership.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced Agile/Scrum teams, excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
