Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented QA Automation Engineer to join our client's dynamic and innovative team based at their new Global Service Centre based in Gurugram, Delhi – India. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of mission-critical applications by designing, implementing, and maintaining robust automated test solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain automated tests for UI, API, integration, and performance testing.
  2. Enhance and expand the existing test automation framework.
  3. Analyze requirements and build comprehensive test scenarios.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects.
  5. Execute automated test scripts and analyze outcomes.
  6. Continuously improve the automation strategy and processes.
  7. Document test activities and log detailed defect reports.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Python, NUnit, and RestSharp.
  • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and tools like Postman or Swagger.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
  • Working knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality.

Agile & Project Management Competence:

  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Active participation in Scrum ceremonies: daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews.
  • Collaborative approach in cross-functional teams including developers and product managers.
  • Understanding of backlog grooming, prioritization, and Agile lifecycle test planning.
