The Total Reward Centre of Excellence is a pivotal driver of customer-centricity across BT Group.

We are embarking on a new chapter where total reward solutions will be at the forefront of business performance and individual success.

As a senior specialist, you will shape and lead our total reward priorities, delivering solutions that support both colleagues and strategic business objectives.

You will operate at a developed level of conceptual thinking, guiding the business through change and risk management to ensure total reward practices are future-proofed and customer-centric.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading total reward advice, guidance, and insight across business units, developing customer-centric data-led solutions to drive differentiated outcomes.
  • Identifying opportunities and delivering solutions to enhance the effectiveness of total reward and drive improved business performance.
  • Driving increased leadership and line manager understanding of the value and impact of total reward adoption and use.
  • Simplifying total reward delivery and driving performance within and across business units through total reward insights.

You will implement and embed total reward programmes, enhancing total reward value as part of the Employer Value Proposition.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

Business partnering (advanced): leading partnerships with leaders to translate business goals into total reward programmes to increase business and individual performance.

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills (expert): strong analytical ability to analyze data, identify root causes of issues, develop effective solutions, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Change and project delivery (expert): highly proficient in change management techniques to facilitate smooth transition of total reward change.
  • Storytelling with data/business insights (expert): strong skills in building the case for total reward change, drawing on data and analytical insights.
  • Communication (expert): confident communication across all total reward matters, tailoring your style to suit the intended audience.

Innovation and excellence (expert): constantly building knowledge base through internal and external learning exposure, bringing thought leadership to influence business total reward solutions.

Leadership accountabilities include experience in customer championing, change agency, collaborative partnering, and commercial thinking.
