Proposal Writer

We are seeking a skilled Proposal Writer to develop compliant, compelling, and well-structured proposals for US federal opportunities.

This role requires familiarity with the federal procurement process and the ability to work collaboratively with capture teams, SMEs, and leadership to produce winning proposals.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and respond to federal RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and task orders.
  • Write and edit proposal content that is clear, persuasive, and compliant.
  • Collaborate with capture managers, business development, and technical experts to gather inputs.
  • Create compliance matrices and ensure all submissions meet solicitation requirements.
  • Manage the proposal development lifecycle.
  • Maintain a library of past performance and reusable proposal content.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience writing proposals for US federal government contracts.
  • Strong understanding of the federal acquisition process.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple proposals.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications
  • APMP certification or Shipley methodology training.
  • Experience supporting proposals across multiple industries.
  • Familiarity with proposal tools.
