Building Relationships Through Strategic Fundraising

A Fundraising and Research Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to build relationships with potential donors, researching funding opportunities, and preparing proposals and reports.
Key Responsibilities:- Prospect and Donor Management
- Identify, research, and cultivate new donor prospects
- Maintain accurate records of interactions with current and prospective donors
- Develop tailored approaches to secure significant gifts from major donors
- Proposal and Report Development
- Collaborate with program staff to develop compelling proposal narratives and budget documents
- Write clear and concise reports on project outcomes and impact
- Ensure all fundraising materials are aligned with DSFM's mission and goals
- Stewardship and Event Planning
- Coordinate and execute stewardship events and activities
- Oversee the planning and execution of fundraising campaigns and appeals
- Build relationships with board members and other stakeholders to ensure their engagement and support
Applicants should have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., nonprofit management, marketing, communications) and 3-5 years of experience in fundraising or a related field. They should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office tools.
