Job Title: Senior Logic Design Engineer

  • We are seeking a skilled professional to lead the architecture, design, and development of high-performance processor core front end pipeline units.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and architect CPU units such as I-Cache, Instruction Fetch, Branch Prediction, and Decode units for high-performance systems.
  2. Develop features, present proposed architectures in high-level design discussions, estimate overall effort to develop the feature, and estimate silicon area and wire usage for the feature.
  3. Collaborate with other core units, verification, DFT, physical design, timing, firmware, and software teams to develop the feature.
  4. Lead a team of engineers, guide and mentor team members, represent as logic design lead in global forums.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. A Doctorate Degree or equivalent experience.
  2. At least 8 years of demonstrated experience in architecting and designing specific CPU units (e.g. I-Cache, Instruction Fetch, Branch Prediction, Instruction Decode).
  3. Hands-on experience of different branch prediction techniques.
  4. Deep expertise in out-of-order, super scalar, multi-threaded core architecture and ISA.
  5. Experience with high-frequency instruction pipeline designs. At least one generation of processor core silicon bring-up experience.
  6. In-depth understanding of industry microprocessor designs (e.g. x86, ARM, or RISC-V processor designs).
  7. Proficiency in RTL design with Verilog or VHDL. Knowledge of at least one object-oriented or functional programming language and scripting language.
