Our ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and architecting building management system (BMS) hardware for energy storage systems. This includes collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive BMS designs for energy storage applications, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Architect power electronics concepts, including digital and analog circuit design, ADCs, DACs, OP amps, micro-processors, micro-controllers, and DSPs.
  • Ensure PCB layout constraints are met, leveraging knowledge of simulation tools like P-Spice, Matlab, and Mathcad.
  • Apply FMEA and root cause analysis to identify and resolve issues.
  • Work with various sensing technologies, such as temperature and voltage sensors.
  • Design hardware peripherals and communication circuits.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • BE/BTech/MTech in Electrical Engineering.
  • 12-14 years of experience in developing BMS for energy storage and ESS.
  • Demonstrated expertise in architecting power electronics concepts, including rich hands-on experience in architecting Power Electronics concepts for BMS.
  • Strong design knowledge of digital circuit design, analog circuit design, ADC, DACs, OP Amps, Micro-processors, Micro-controllers & DSPs, etc.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements for Li-ion batteries for Energy storage application such as UL9540/UL1973/IEC62619/IEC 60730, etc
  • Knowledge of PCB layout constraints.
  • Knowledge and demonstrated experience with Analog Front End circuit design for Li-ion batteries.
  • Experience using simulation tools (for example P-Spice, Matlab, Mathcad).
  • Experience with FMEA and Root Cause Analysis.
  • Experience working with various Sensing Technologies (ex: Temp Sensor, Voltage sensor, etc.).
  • Experience working with hardware peripherals and communication ckt design .
  • Experience in Power Supply Design.
  • Experience working with MOSFET driving,
Preferred Requirements:
  • Knowledge of Safety Regulatory standards like IEC61508, ISO26262 when building HW designs)
  • Contractors and Relays
  • Working knowledge of safety-critical features like charge control, thermal control, fault detection, and diagnostics for battery and energy products
