Electrical Engineer Position Summary:

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to lead our substation projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing primary and secondary electrical systems for substations.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design & Implementation: Design and implement primary and secondary electrical systems for substations, including transformers, switchgear, breakers, and other essential equipment.
  • System Integration: Coordinate the integration of electrical and control systems across substation infrastructure.
  • Documentation & Review: Prepare, review, and revise technical drawings such as single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, and protection schemes.
  • Compliance & Standards: Ensure compliance with industry standards (IEEE, IEC, ANSI) and local regulations in electrical designs.
  • Design Reviews & Risk Assessment: Conduct detailed design reviews, risk assessments, and safety checks to ensure reliability and robustness of the designs.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting phases of substation projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience: 6-16 years of experience in designing primary/secondary electrical systems for substation projects.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of substation design, power systems, and protection schemes for HV/MV substation projects.
