Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Electrical Design Engineer L2 to join our team. This is a challenging role that requires the ability to design, implement and maintain electrical systems for commercial, industrial and domestic projects.

  • The successful candidate will create detailed technical construction drawings and specifications using computer-assisted engineering software.
  • They will perform calculations and prepare technical specifications for projects.
  • Additionally, they will review designs for accuracy and code compliance.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to coordinate with clients, project managers and vendors to ensure timely project delivery.
  • They will also develop cost estimations and bills of materials.
  • Collaboration with the team on MEP coordination is essential.

Skill Requirements:

  • Detailed knowledge of electrical systems, including design, implementation and maintenance.
  • Proficiency in computer-assisted engineering software.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and improve electrical systems, equipment selections and specifications.
  • Prepare technical documents, including calculations and specifications.
  • Ensure that installations conform to standards, codes and customer requirements.
  • Develop training modules and procedures for design and execution.
  • Conduct reviews of engineering submittals and shop drawings.
