E-plan Tool Administrator

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the ePlan toolset for electrical functions, ensuring seamless workflows and efficient system performance.

This role is ideal for individuals with a strong understanding of PLM systems, particularly Windchill, and experience with electrical design tools such as Altium Designer, WSCAD, and Zuken.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain the ePlan tool environment for electrical design workflows.
  • Setup and configure eplan connector to Windchill.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compatibility with other engineering systems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 6+ years of experience administering electrical design tools, especially ePlan.
  • Strong understanding of PLM systems (preferably Windchill).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication skills.
Preferred Attributes
  • Certification in ePlan or related electrical CAD tools.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or product development setting.



Electrical Design Tools Management

As an E-plan Tool Administrator, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of electrical design tools, including:

  • Altium Designer: manage updates, user access, and provide ongoing support for electrical design and data management.
  • WSCAD: maintain tool configurations and libraries, collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure tool alignment with project needs.
  • Zuken: ensure compatibility with other engineering systems, provide ongoing support for electrical design and data management.
