Job Title: SAP Basis Administrator

Experience: 3.5 to 6 Years Required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and timely issue resolution on bridge calls.
  • Monitor and tune SAP systems to ensure optimal performance and availability.
  • Provide end-to-end technical support for SAP environments, including ABAP and JAVA systems, with additional expertise in BOBJ, BODS, Cloud Connector, Content Server, and OpenText considered an advantage.
  • Manage SSL and SSO configurations, including certificate exchange, renewal, and trust establishment between systems.
  • Handle SAP Basis administration tasks such as transport and printer administration, job scheduling, and system operations planning.
  • Maintain multiple SAP instances (development, test, training, and production), ensuring environment stability and integrity.
  • Oversee SAP Correction and Transport System (CTS) to manage configuration and development object movements across systems.
  • Introduce technical changes using structured methodologies to minimize risks while ensuring system reliability, availability, and performance.
  • Configure and manage SAP printing subsystems across all instances.
  • Plan and execute SAP performance tuning strategies to maintain system efficiency.
  • Monitor system health, including work processes, logs, short dumps, locks, traces, and disk space usage.
  • Support SAP application upgrades, patches, and client copy activities.

Required Skills:

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with clients and internal teams.
  • Solid hands-on experience with SAP Basis administration in both ABAP and JAVA systems.
  • Knowledge of SAP web dispatcher configuration.
  • Proficiency in SSL/SSO setup and certificate management.
  • Experience with SAP performance monitoring, tuning, and upgrades.
