Job Title: IT Service Analyst

About the Role:

Fugro is seeking an IT Service Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will provide end-user support on multiple IT platforms, including applications and infrastructure. Your primary focus will be on tracking tickets through resolution and escalating when required or at risk.

Key Responsibilities:

Troubleshooting and Technical Support:

  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently, identifying root causes, analyzing symptoms, and implementing effective solutions.
  • Provide expert-level technical assistance to end-users and stakeholders, addressing complex issues and ensuring timely resolution.

Core Technical Knowledge and Hands-on:

  • Understanding networking concepts such as IP addresses, subnets, DNS, DHCP, and basic network troubleshooting to diagnose connectivity issues and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Deep knowledge in Active Directory, managing Office 365 / Exchange admin center, and MS licensing.
  • SharePoint experience is advantageous.

Support and Communication:

  • Communicate IT service status, updates, and outages to users in a clear and concise manner.
  • Act as a point of contact for escalations and manage stakeholder expectations.

Time Management and Vendor Management:

  • Efficiently manage and prioritize tasks, especially during busy periods or when handling multiple incidents simultaneously.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and suppliers to ensure seamless service delivery and adherence to SLAs.

Documentation and Continuous Learning:

  • The ability to create and maintain accurate documentation of incidents, solutions, and processes is vital for knowledge sharing and process improvement.
  • A willingness to stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends is beneficial.

HSE Responsibilities:

Fugro's IT Service Analyst is responsible for ensuring safety of self and others at site. Prevent damage of equipment and assets. Responsible for following all safety signs/procedures/safe working practices. Responsible for using appropriate PPEs. Responsible for participating in mock drills. Entitled to refuse any to undertake any activity considered unsafe. Responsible for filling up of hazard observation card, wherever hazard has been noticed at site. Responsible for safe housekeeping of his work place. To stop any operation that is deemed unsafe. To be able to operate fire extinguisher in case of fire. To report an incident as soon as possible to immediate supervisor and HSE manager. To complete HSE trainings as instructed to do so.
