We are seeking a skilled Field Service Representative to join our team in Pune.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Executing overhaul, erection, and commissioning of Reciprocating Compressor systems and panels.
  • Overhauling and maintaining package equipment.
  • Global assignments as an FSE for mechanical installations of compressors.
  • Independent erection and commissioning.
  • A basic electrical understanding of various types of starter panels and control panels.
  • Inspection, revision, revamp, and dismantling of compressor and auxiliary parts.
  • Acting as a contact person at site for customers, agents, contractors, and project managers.
  • Preparing consolidated reports and records.
  • Providing onsite solutions to resolve issues.
  • Analyzing situations and making decisions to keep machines active and running.
  • Managing complaints and offering solutions to resolve them.
  • Supervising and performing mechanical minor and major overhauls.
  • Responsible for complaint analysis, fault analysis, and rectification, and finding the root cause of problems.
  • Timely resolution of contractual and warranty issues in the most cost-effective manner.
  • Enhancing customer satisfaction through timely services and better technical support and services.
  • Achieving Services division business targets.
  • Forecasting materials and services required to execute jobs in the quickest time.
  • Managing warranty claim parts to the client.
  • Facilitating recovery management.
  • Providing instruction and training to customer personnel on maintenance and operation procedures.
  • Building competence of team members for superior performance.
  • Maintaining a well-defined quality system across the department.

Requirements

  • BE/B.Tech or DME with Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 6-15 years of experience.
  • Previous customer service experience in field support in Refineries, Petrochemicals/Fertilizers, Industrial Gas segment with Reciprocating Compressors/Engines.
  • Service mentality with a certain commercial sense.
  • Previous experience in using hand, hydraulic, pneumatic power tools, material handling equipment such as power-operated overhead cranes, hand pallet trucks, etc.
  • High energy level, flexible, disciplined/punctual, ready for extensive travel, good physique.
  • Able to read and comprehend Operation and Maintenance Manuals, P&I diagrams, and other project-related written documents in English.
  • Relevant experience in sales of spare parts of compressors/pumps/valves.

  • Good communication skills (written and verbal communication with customers).
  • Presentation and training experience.
  • Analytical skill, technical decision-making.
  • Computer knowledge, ISO documentation.
  • Good grasping power, self-motivated, and ready to take challenges.
  • Good business acumen.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems.

Language Skills

  • Good command over English language.
  • Language skill in German would be an added advantage.

Special Requirements

  • This role demands a deep understanding of compressors and physical stamina to work continuously at customer sites whenever required.
  • Travel activities at 90%.
