Project Finance Specialist

This is a full-time on-site role located in Gurugram. The Project Finance Specialist will perform financial analysis, build and maintain financial models, conduct budgeting activities, and provide analytical support to project teams.

The individual will work closely with internal departments to ensure accurate financial planning and reporting. Daily tasks include preparing financial reports, monitoring project costs, and providing insights to support financial decision-making.

  • Required skills include strong analytical skills, finance expertise, and experience in budgeting.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools is also necessary.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • The ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment is essential.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field is required.
  • Relevant certifications, such as CFA or CPA, are an advantage.

We invite experienced specialists to source and close funding from international banks, HNIs, and family offices for eligible projects and operating businesses. The engagement is commitment-only and performance-linked; no fixed salary. In consideration of successful capital raised, the Specialist shall receive negotiated equity participation and profit-sharing, subject to board approval and definitive agreements.

Key duties include originating prospects, structuring proposals/term sheets, coordinating due diligence, managing lender/investor communications, negotiating closing documentation, ensuring post-closing covenants and reporting.

Eligibility requirements include a demonstrable track record, strong communication and representation skills, integrity and compliance mindset.

Conditions include strict confidentiality and non-disclosure, adherence to applicable laws (KYC/AML, anti-corruption, securities/placement regulations), no public solicitation, conflicts declared and managed. All representations require prior written authorization. Tenure, economics, and KPIs will be set forth in an Engagement Letter and Success Fee Agreement.
