This role involves performing complex financial valuations for businesses, business interests, and intangible assets. The successful candidate will work closely with senior management to develop and implement financial models that support business decisions.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or business administration, as well as advanced degrees and/or certifications such as MBA, CA, or CFA. Minimum 2+ years of experience in fair value of debt, equity, purchase price allocation, and/or goodwill impairments in a public accounting, consulting, or investment banking environment is required.
Key Responsibilities- Perform financial statement analysis (e.g., common size analysis, ratio analysis, trend analysis, and industry comparative analysis)
- Analyze historical financial and operating results of target companies to explain business trends and identify risks
- Develop and implement financial models that support business decisions
- Assist in the development of discount rates (WACC, IRR, WARA, etc.)
- Conduct market/industry research and develop industry growth estimates
- Construct and review valuation and other financial models
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field required; advanced degree and/or certifications including MBA, CA, or CFA would be preferable.
Minimum 2+ years of demonstrated experience performing work related to fair value of debt, equity, purchase price allocation, and/or goodwill impairments in a public accounting, consulting, or investment banking environment.
