Job Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Equity Research Analyst to join our team.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional financial modeling skills and be able to create accurate assumptions and valuations with clear rationale.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and update complex financial models with scenario analysis.
  • Carry out DCF, relative, SOTP, and other relevant valuation methods.
  • Build robust datasets to identify investment ideas and support portfolio managers in their investment decisions.
  • Discuss investment ideas and stock updates with portfolio managers.
  • Prepare earnings reviews, previews, attend conference calls, and management meetings.
  • Compile pitch notes/presentations, industry, and thematic notes.
  • Create and update databases.
  • Collect and analyze news.
  • Handle ad hoc research requests.

Maintain regular communication with clients and stakeholders.

Essential Skills:
  • Excellent financial modeling and research report-writing/presentation-making skills.
  • Critical thinking abilities to analyze drivers and KPIs across various sectors.
  • Strong client relationship management skills and effective communication.
  • An eye for detail and the ability to handle multiple workflows with tight deadlines.
  • Numerical abilities.
  • Building complex, error-free models with well-defined revenue/cost driver assumptions.
  • Carrying out earnings sensitivity analysis.
  • Providing own valuation views after conducting relative, DCF-based, or industry-specific valuations.
  • Writing skills.
  • Creating bulletins and one-page summaries.
  • Linking macro/industry analysis to the output.
  • Building effective presentations.
  • Experience with technologies such as Python, SQL, Power BI, etc. is advantageous.
