Profit & Loss Strategist Job Description

The Profit & Loss Strategist is responsible for developing and implementing financial strategies that drive business growth. This role involves managing budgets, forecasting revenue and expenses, and monitoring store performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop detailed annual budgets for each store, including revenue projections and expense management.
  • Maintain accurate financial records, including profit and loss statements and cash flow analysis.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of current financial strategies and recommend changes as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement cost optimization processes and activities.
  • Provide regular financial updates and insights to stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in Business Finance from the Retail Industry.
  • Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Commerce (M.Com).
  • Excellent analytical skills, with proficiency in MS Excel and other financial tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
