Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Financial Analysis and Reporting Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the accurate reporting of daily profit and loss in compliance with applicable policies.
  • Maintain adherence to relevant controls and regulations.
  • Verify the correctness of profit and loss and balance sheet positions at month-end, and resolve any identified issues.
  • Analyze profit and loss attribution and provide insightful commentary on variance reported.
  • Coordinate task completion and delivery for allocated tasks.
  • Engage with stakeholders to discuss key performance indicators and metrics.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing for system enhancements and change initiatives.
  • E nsure adherence to applicable accounting standards for profit and loss and balance sheet reporting.
  • Contribute to training new team members and share knowledge with the wider team.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will require a broad understanding of product types traded by the desk and valuation issues related to those products. You should also have good logical reasoning skills and the ability to apply existing knowledge to solve new issues.
