We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Placement & Corporate Interface function. This is a leadership role that requires a strategic mindset, a strong corporate network, and the ability to drive results.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will be instrumental in building and sustaining relationships with top recruiters, ensuring stellar placement outcomes, and enhancing our industry presence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Develop and implement placement strategies that align with our vision and market trends.
  • CORPORATE RELATIONS:
    • Negotiate and maintain strong relationships with top-tier companies, startups, and public sector enterprises for placements, internships, and live projects.
    • Organize industry conclaves, guest lectures, and other corporate interactions to increase engagement.
  • PLACEMENT OPERATIONS:
    • Oversee the entire placement process, from pre-placement talks to final offers, ensuring a smooth and professional experience for both recruiters and students.
  • STUDENT READINESS:
    • Work closely with faculty and training partners to groom students to meet industry expectations. This includes pre-placement training on resume building, interview prep, and group discussion practice.
    • Mentor students on career choices, profile building, and industry expectations.
  • ALUMNI ENGAGEMENT:
    • Leverage our alumni network for placement support, mentorship, and networking opportunities.
  • ANALYTICS & REPORTING:
    • Track placement metrics, prepare detailed reports, and present insights to leadership and stakeholders.
    Qualifications and Experience
    • A postgraduate degree (preferably an MBA or equivalent) from a reputable institution.
    • At least 10 years of relevant experience in corporate relations, placements, business development, or HR, ideally within a reputable academic institution or corporate setting.
    • A strong network across various industries (FMCG, BFSI, IT/ITES, Consulting, Manufacturing, etc.).
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
    • A strategic thinker with a result-oriented approach.
    • Demonstrated experience in building and leading high-performing teams.
