
Chief Student Placement Officer

We are seeking an accomplished Placement Director to join our institution. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that enhance student placement opportunities.
- Placement Support:
- You should have established connections with private sector companies, startups, recruitment firms, and HR consultants, preferably in the NCR region.
- A strong network with industry associations, forums, and industry captains is essential.
- Familiarity with online communities and social media platforms is required.
- You should be skilled in networking through job portals and various technology platforms.
- Interacting with industries on a regular basis concerning career opportunities and employment trends is crucial.
- You will need to connect with other resources and institutions (government affiliated bodies).
- Assisting Placement & Departments in identifying internship opportunities for students when required.
- Handling complete placement data management and maintaining internship and placement data.
- Preparing detailed reports from placement data for periodical reviews.
- Ability to manage flexible & extended time requirements as and when needed.
- Identifying and organizing interaction programs on career opportunities in the university and external agencies.
- Tracking application forms, pre-screening candidates, shortlisting, and scheduling interviews.
- Monitoring individual candidates' progress.
- Providing counselling on procedures to the applicants.
- Ensuring accurate and proper record-keeping of applicants' information in electronic and digital format.
- Training Support:
- You will organize Skill Lab Orientation programs.
- Taking full responsibility for enrolling students in the Career Service Tech platform by coordinating with different academic institutions.
- Conducting various training programs at different academic institutions.
- Working closely with subject experts, learning engagement coaches to revise and update the curriculums.
- Proactively strengthening your knowledge and providing feedback on methodologies in the training process.
- Overseeing and managing the Digitally Enabled Platform for which training shall be provided.
Educational Qualifications:
Essential: A Bachelor's degree in Management, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Desirable: Postgraduate degree in Management, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Familiarity with relevant software and tools used in placement processes, such as on-campus placement drives, off-campus placement drives, placement portals, Applicants' Tracking systems (ATS), and other HR software etc.
Experience:
A minimum of 15 years or more of relevant experience in Corporate Placements in the NCR Region.
