Job Title: Senior Acquisition Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Acquisition Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement operations, you will be responsible for managing procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery timelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement acquisition strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery timelines.
  • Evaluate and establish relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and vendors.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure the best value for the organization.
  • Maintain a supplier database, ensuring continuous assessment of performance and compliance.
Working Relationships:

You will work closely with engineering and project teams to understand technical requirements for materials and equipment. Ensure purchased materials comply with engineering specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.

Budgeting and Cost Control:

Monitor procurement budgets and drive cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality. Analyze procurement data and supplier performance to identify cost reduction opportunities.

Supply Chain Management:

Ensure timely delivery of materials by coordinating with suppliers and logistics teams. Optimize supply chain processes to minimize delays and disruptions.

Compliance and Risk Management:

Ensure compliance with organizational policies, industry standards, and legal requirements. Conduct risk assessments related to procurement, including supplier financial stability and geopolitical risks.
