Backend Expert for Capital Markets

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Backend Developer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing robust backend systems that support our financial applications, ensuring high performance and reliability.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance backend systems for capital market applications.
  • Collaborating with front-end developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Implementing and optimizing database schemas and queries to support application functionality.
  • Conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback to team members.
  • Ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of the backend systems through proper testing and validation.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving production issues in a timely manner.
  • Staying updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve the backend architecture.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • 6-12 years of experience in backend development, preferably in the capital markets domain.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
  • Strong experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
  • In-depth knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
  • Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Solid understanding of software development methodologies such as Agile and DevOps.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on performance optimization.
