IB PYP Coordinator Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced educator to lead our Primary Years Programme, fostering a collaborative student-centered environment through close collaboration with teachers, students and parents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Curriculum Development: Develop and align PYP curriculum with IB guidelines to ensure effective delivery and foster a culture of inquiry and reflection.
  • Teacher Support: Provide expert guidance and support for teachers in developing transdisciplinary units and inquiry-based learning experiences.
  • Professional Development: Organize and deliver high-quality workshops and training sessions for staff to enhance teaching practices.
  • Community Engagement: Engage closely with parents and the school community to promote understanding and appreciation of the PYP.
  • Assessment Coordination: Coordinate and support student assessments, maintaining accurate records as per IB requirements.
  • IB Standards Compliance: Stay up-to-date with the latest IB developments and ensure the school's strict adherence to IB standards.

Qualifications:

  • A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  • IB PYP Coordinator training or certification is highly desirable.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in teaching and a deep understanding of the IB framework, particularly the PYP.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong leadership abilities and a commitment to ongoing professional growth.
