Our organization seeks a Senior HSE Manager to spearhead sustainability initiatives, ensuring regulatory compliance and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive HSE strategy, conducting regular risk assessments, investigating incidents, and promoting best practices throughout the organization.

  • Developing and Implementing HSE Strategy: Collaborate with stakeholders to design and execute a proactive HSE strategy that aligns with business objectives.
  • Ensuring Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all applicable Acts, regulations, standards, and permits are met, maintaining a high level of regulatory compliance.
  • Risk Assessment and Control Measures: Conduct regular risk assessments, identify areas of improvement, and implement control measures to mitigate risks.
  • Incident Investigation and Analysis: Investigate and analyze incidents to determine root causes, implement corrective actions, and prevent future occurrences.
  • Culture of Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement through initiatives such as audits, inspections, and benchmarking.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in occupational safety and health or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in HSE management, preferably in a metal & mining industry.
  • Approved Safety Officer: Approved Safety officer as per Odisha Factory Act.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Factory Act, Environmental guidelines, HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
