About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Occupational Health Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting nutritional assessments of employees and patients, developing personalized diet charts, and providing dietary guidance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments of employees and patients to identify health risks and develop targeted interventions.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to design and implement personalized diet plans for individuals with lifestyle disorders such as diabetes, hypertension, obesity, and cardiovascular conditions.
- Develop and maintain balanced, nutritious menus for contract workers and plant canteens to meet occupational health and energy needs.
- Maintain food quality, hygiene standards, and portioning in canteens to ensure compliance with nutrition and safety norms.
- Counsel employees on healthy eating practices to prevent occupational fatigue and lifestyle-related illnesses.
- Design and deliver nutrition programs to support worker well-being, immunity, and energy levels.
- Conduct awareness sessions, workshops, and health talks on balanced diet, workplace nutrition, hydration, and stress-related eating.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
- Maintain accurate records of dietary assessments, menu plans, interventions, and progress for compliance and reporting purposes.
- Stay updated on best practices in clinical nutrition, occupational health nutrition, and industrial dietary management.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's / Master's degree in Nutrition & Dietetics, Food & Nutrition, or equivalent.
- Registered Dietician certification preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Dietician, preferably in occupational health, hospital, or industrial healthcare setup.
- Strong knowledge of clinical nutrition, occupational health nutrition, and preventive healthcare.
- Experience in large-scale menu planning and industrial canteen management will be an added advantage.
- Excellent communication, counseling, and interpersonal skills.
