Job Title: Chef de Partie

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our culinary team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the kitchen team in food production, menu planning, and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of chefs in food production, including breakfast, room service, dinner, and staff meal.
  • Develop and implement menus that meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Manage inventory and supplies to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Maintain high levels of hygiene and safety in the kitchen.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Participate in menu planning and costing.
  • Ensure that all kitchen staff are fully trained and equipped to perform their duties.
  • Monitor and control waste and costs.
  • Implement and maintain effective systems for tracking and managing inventory, ordering, and receiving supplies.
  • Attend meetings with other departments to discuss menu items, pricing, and promotions.
  • Stay up-to-date with new recipes, techniques, and products.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, preferably from a professional culinary school.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a sous chef or chef de partie in a 4 or 5-star hotel restaurant.
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
