Job Description

Vodafone Idea Limited, a leading telecom service provider in India, is seeking an experienced Retail Operations Manager to oversee the expansion of its Vi Stores. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer experience, and ensuring operational efficiency across our retail outlets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to increase footfall, conversion-to-customers, and sales at Vi Stores.
  • Manage profitability through innovative sales and revenue maximization programs.
  • Enhance customer experience by ensuring high-quality services and products across all VIL retail outlets.
  • Achieve sales targets for all products, including post-paid plans, MiFi, premium numbers, and other offerings.
  • Facilitate the roll-out or relocation of Vi Stores.
  • Oversee the efficacy of Google My Business (GMB) implementation, cross-pollination, and compliance.
  • Maintain quality acquisition through the retail channel.
  • Meet revenue targets at Vi Stores.
  • Establish governance and follow up with Circle Vi Store Lead for CAPA of complaints and processes to drive business process re-engineering.
  • Take full ownership of complaints accrued from Vi stores as part of escalation management.
  • Monitor store operating costs, people costs, and manage churn while achieving customer satisfaction for walk-in customers.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Team to recommend marketing, branding, and promotion activities to boost footfalls.
  • Ensure employee retention and motivation levels are high through regular performance reviews.

Requirements:

  • 7-10 years of experience in retail operations, with at least 2 years in people management roles.
  • Leadership and people management skills.
  • Understanding of organized retail management best practices and customer relationship management.
