Role Description:

We are seeking an experienced culinary professional to assume responsibility for representing our high standards of personal presentation and behaviour at all times during a shift.

This key role will involve ensuring efficient time keeping, presentation and workflow in the kitchen, as well as having complete food knowledge of the allocated section and maintaining service of food to assigned task standards/spec/batch cooking.

Responsibilities will also include maintaining the highest standard of cleanliness and upkeep of equipment, adhering to daily, weekly and monthly cleaning duties instructed by senior chefs, and contributing to the building of a cohesive team with efficient team spirit, while actively promoting employees' welfare, safety and development.

To excel in this position, you must be confident in running at least two sections in the kitchen, provide a friendly, courteous and professional service at all times, and foster good working relationships with colleagues and all departments.
