Deputy General Manager Human Resources

You will play a pivotal role in spearheading the HR function for Quality & Operations functions at our site. Your strategic HR business partnership with the Site Leadership team will be instrumental in driving business objectives.

  • Strategic HR Partner: Plan, implement, and evaluate employee relations and human resource programs to align with business needs.
  • Talent Acquisition and Onboarding: Identify manpower requirements, plan budget, and hire talented workforce to ensure business continuity.
  • HR Manpower Planning and Budgeting: Assist in budgeting process, review actual spend, and identify opportunities for savings.
  • Performance Management: Drive performance management and annual compensation review for the site, train line managers on goal setting and sharing performance feedback.
  • Talent Management: Implement periodic talent management reviews, succession plans, and talent development/retention plans.
  • Learning and Development: Promote culture of learning and high performance, identify training needs, and implement various training programs.
  • HR Compliance and Statutory Obligations: Ensure HR legal compliances, monitor statutory laws, maintain records, and represent the organization at various associations related to human resources.
  • Labour Management: Maintain harmonious and productive IR environment, track productivity, and ensure statutory compliances are followed by manpower vendors.
  • Employee Engagement and Wellbeing: Implement initiatives to impact key drivers of employee engagement and lead wellbeing initiatives to achieve holistic wellbeing of employees.
  • HR Operations: Supervise and review all HR operations pertaining to employee life cycle to streamline and bring efficiency.

Mandatory Qualifications: MBA HR / Masters in Human Resource Management. Experience: 15+ years' experience handling HR function, preferably in a manufacturing setup. Knowledge and Skills: HR Operations, Industrial Relations, Understanding of labour legislations, Strong business acumen, Excellent management skills, Excellent analytical ability, Ability to interface with all levels of management.

  2. Manage Talent Acquisition: Lead recruitment efforts to attract top talent and build a high-performing team.
  3. Optimize HR Processes: Analyze and improve HR operations to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  4. Drive Performance Management: Develop and implement performance management systems to enhance employee performance.
  5. Implement Talent Management: Design and implement talent management strategies to develop and retain top performers.
  6. Enhance Learning and Development: Create and deliver training programs to promote a culture of learning and growth.
  7. Ensure HR Compliance: Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations.
  8. Manage Labour Relations: Foster positive labor relations and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  9. Boost Employee Engagement: Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and wellbeing.
  10. Lead HR Operations: Oversee all HR operations to ensure seamless delivery of HR services.
