Finance Manager Role Overview

This role requires a highly skilled finance professional to lead our company's financial operations.

  • Financial Management:
    • Establish and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, and manage cash flow to ensure timely payments.
    • Prepare financial reports for management and stakeholders, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
    • Monitor and control expenses, ensuring alignment with budget and organizational goals.
    • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Payroll, Taxation, and Compliance:
    • Oversee employee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
    • Manage tax obligations, including income tax, sales tax, and other statutory filings.
    • Maintain accurate documentation for audits and ensure all statutory registers are up to date.
  • Insurance and Risk Management:
    • Lead the procurement and review of essential business insurance policies, including liability and cybersecurity insurance.
    • Liaise with brokers and insurers to ensure coverage levels align with operational risk profiles.
    • Monitor insurance compliance obligations under lease agreements and service contracts.
  • Financial Systems and Infrastructure:
    • Establish and manage banking relationships, ensuring optimal account structures for operational efficiency.
    • Ensure compatibility with accounting platforms, including direct bank feeds.
    • Support the setup of digital payment systems and vendor management tools.
  • Administrative Leadership and Record-Keeping:
    • Develop and maintain internal administrative policies and workflows.
    • Oversee documentation of employee records, contracts, and regulatory filings.
    • Support onboarding and coordination with external consultants.
