Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating financial deals, preparing credit memos, and presenting these to senior management in a clear and concise manner.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. They will also have experience with financial modeling and Excel.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Evaluating financial deals and preparing credit memos
  • Presenting deals to senior management
  • Coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure timely disbursement of sanctioned deals
  • Submitting monthly/quarterly monitoring reports to top management
  • Ensuring timely interest and principal repayments

You will also have the opportunity to perform market research and competitive analysis, as well as groom junior analysts and management trainees.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A strong hold on industry, financial, and credit principles
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Sound knowledge of underwriting in corporate/wholesale lending
  • A strong understanding of industry cycles and financial ratios
  • Hands-on experience in credit memo preparation and financial modeling
