Responsibilities for Front Desk Manager
As a key member of the Spandana Hospital team, the Front Desk Manager plays a critical role in ensuring excellent patient service and a smooth hospital experience.
- Front Desk Leadership
- Supervise and train front desk staff to provide top-notch service, focusing on prompt responses to guest inquiries and timely resolution of issues
- Promote a positive work environment by fostering open communication, recognizing employee contributions, and addressing concerns promptly
- Guest Experience
- Anticipate and address guest needs, responding to requests and resolving issues in a friendly, courteous manner
- Collaborate with staff to ensure seamless service delivery, including coordinating room assignments, answering phone inquiries, and directing visitors to the appropriate department
- Budgeting and Scheduling
- Work closely with the General Manager to develop and monitor the front desk budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and effective allocation of staff
- Schedule front desk staff to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours and manage workload to maintain high service standards
- Communication and Liaison
- Act as liaison between the General Manager and front desk staff, facilitating open communication and resolving issues in a timely manner
- Phone and Data Management
- Answer phone inquiries, directing calls to the appropriate department or taking messages as needed
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
