**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a visionary and innovative Apparel Design Strategist to spearhead our product development process.

  • Stay up-to-date on the latest fashion trends by conducting extensive market research, collaborating with key suppliers, and analyzing consumer behavior.
  • Lead the creation of colour boards at the beginning of each season, incorporating emerging shades and sourcing high-quality materials from reputable vendors.
  • Oversee regular market research with our team to identify opportunities for business growth and ensure we remain competitive in the market.
  • Compile comprehensive Market Benchmarking Reports after visiting trade shows and industry events, providing actionable insights for informed decision-making.
  • Collaborate closely with our buying team to select product ranges, ensuring alignment with our brand's vision and values.
  • Visit vendors to oversee sample development and ensure exceptional quality control.
  • Coordinate artwork creation for selected styles and work closely with vendors to finalize designs, meeting deadlines and budget requirements.
  • Provide constructive feedback on prototype samples and collaborate with buyers to refine designs, driving innovation and excellence in our products.

**Requirements & Qualifications:**

  • A minimum of 4-8 years of relevant experience in apparel design and product development is required.
  • Preferably graduated or post-graduated from reputable institutions such as NIFT or PEARL.
  • Proficient in using design software such as Illustrator, Photoshop, and Excel, as well as other tools necessary for creating CADs and illustrations.
