Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Thermodynamics Specialist. This role will involve designing, developing, and testing new detection agents for steam turbines, compressors, and gas turbines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop remote diagnostic monitoring activities to minimize equipment degradation and downtime.
  • Creation of customer reporting ticketing activities ensuring timely, concise, and technically accurate reports.
  • Maintenance of the remote services platform connection and maintenance processes.
  • Ownership of local research and development activities agreed by RDS global via the product development process.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in instrumentation and controls or mechanical engineering with 3-5 years of experience in turbomachinery.
  • Experience in multiple engineering environments including design engineering, controls engineering, assembly and test, installation commissioning, performance engineering, support engineering, technical helpdesk, and remote diagnostic services.
  • Strong leadership, trouble shooting, problem solving, and analytical skills with ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
  • Appreciation of international cultural diversity and ability to communicate in multiple languages is an advantage.
  • Strong lobbying negotiation skills and project management skills.
