Job Title: Thermal Systems Analyst

  • Perform CFD analysis for system and component levels using different software such as FloTHERM, 6SigmaDC, 6Sigma ET, and Ansys Fluent.
  • Conduct model checks and create parametric models with available CAD packages.
  • Perform sensitivity analysis independently with limited assistance.
  • Generate the CFD mesh model and run steady and transient flow thermal analysis using different software.
  • Analyze simulation results and prepare reports clearly and independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize analytical skills and simulation tools to analyze fluid flow systems and provide recommendations for design improvements.
  • Have knowledge on fan operation and performance curve, as well as flow bench and wind tunnel testing.
  • Be clear about temperature measurement and handling thermocouple sensors.
  • Participate in potential product development opportunities on a global level and provide technical expertise towards design.
  • Drive virtual testing and reduce physical tests.

Requirements:

  • Full-time ME or M Tech with specialization in Thermal Engineering, Aerospace, or Heat Power from a reputed Institute.
  • Undergone Fluid Mechanics, CFD, Heat Transfer, and Thermodynamics during masters.
  • Minimum 3 years of CFD analysis experience in Steady, Transient, Laminar, Turbulence flow, multi-Phase flow, Evaporation, etc. in CFD Analysis software such as FloTHERM, 6SigmaDC, Fluent.
  • Experience in Ansys Icepack, Ansys Sherlock, Ansys Multiphase, and Ansys Aeroacoustics is an added advantage.
  • Comfortable working with Creo Pro-E for model check.
  • Knowledge about datacenter and its analysis will be an added advantage.
