Job Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist

The role of an Accounts Receivable Specialist is crucial in ensuring the timely collection of outstanding debts from customers. This position requires close collaboration with the accounting department and external agencies to resolve billing and payment-related inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop effective strategies for debt collection by monitoring accounts to identify overdue payments and determining actions to take.
  • Communicate with customers to negotiate payment plans and resolve disputes through clear and concise communication.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to resolve billing and payment-related inquiries and maintain accurate records of collection activities and customer interactions.
  • Implement credit policies and procedures to minimize late payments or non-payment, analyzing delinquent accounts and preparing reports on collections status.
  • Collaborate with legal counsel or external agencies as needed, utilizing analytical skills to assess data and trends.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • CA/CS certification demonstrating expertise in accounting principles and practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (Master's preferred), showcasing knowledge of financial management and analysis.
  • Proven experience in accounts receivable management, preferably supervisory or managerial role, with strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, as well as familiarity with collection software and tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
