AWS Cloud Data Architect

A data engineering position is available for a skilled professional to design, develop and maintain large-scale data pipelines utilizing cloud-based services.
Main Responsibilities- Design and implement scalable ETL solutions using distributed computing frameworks, prioritizing performance, reliability and data integrity.
- Translate business needs into technical solutions leveraging cloud infrastructure and programming languages like Python or PySpark.
- Lead projects from planning to execution, ensuring timely delivery, thorough testing, accurate documentation and effective stakeholder communication.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, EMR, Glue and Redshift, along with in-depth knowledge of Python and its associated libraries, particularly PySpark for big data processing.
Key Requirements- Minimum 5 years of experience in designing and implementing data integration systems.
- Prior leadership experience, guiding teams through technical projects.
- Proficiency in database query languages like PL/SQL and T-SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Preferred skills: Python, PySpark, SQL, AWS, ETL tools, Git, DevOps practices, Snowflake and Palantir Foundry.
